I started my career as a software developer at a manufacturing company. There, I developed software that integrated into our presses to pull metrics for reporting. I also wrote an inventory control system that utilized barcodes on our material, as well as integration into our scales (via RS232) to ensure proper ratios be combined for our finished products.
I then moved on to a pet food manufacturer in which I started out as a Desktop Technician, and worked my way up to Systems Administrator. Exchange, AD, VMWare, Thin Clients, etc etc (the norm of a SysAdmin role!).
Currently, I work in the financial sector in an information security role and absolutely love it!
When I am not working, I enjoy researching new cybersecurity threats, playing around on vulnhub, going to the gym, TRYING to eat healthy, cars, and like a typical nerd….video games!
